Russia’s Rosneft plans to cut 20% of central staff
MOSCOW, Apr 22 (PRIME) -- Russian oil major Rosneft plans to lay off 20% of central staff from the figure as of January 1, the company said in a statement citing CEO Igor Sechin on Friday.
Rosneft will search for new opportunities to increase capitalization, improve efficiency and quality of investment.
“These measures will inevitably touch activities of the central administrative office – we have set a goal to decrease the number of employees by 20% from the figure as of January 1, 2016,” Sechin said.
